Where every ingredient has a story

From the growers to the gatherers, our menu brings together people who really care about quality from field to fork (or spoon).

Supporting lesser-known independents, unearthing some of Britain’s most specialist producers, being mindful of our carbon footprint, and championing consciousness at every step of our food’s journey are principles behind every plate at The Provenist.

Sustenance and soul

To create our menu, we’ve not just been searching for produce that looks and tastes the part, but that’s nurtured by people striving for the same things as us.

Produce that’s nutritious by nature not because of chemical intervention.

Produce that’s seasonal and reflects what the earth gave us.

Produce that builds bridges between place, people and palate.

Ivy House Farm

Ivy House Farm

Whenever you’re sipping a cup of breakfast tea or a mug of frothy coffee, you have Ivy House Farm’s local herd of notoriously curious Jersey cows to thank. It’s the Frome-based farm who supply us with our creamy milk and buttery cream, freshly delivering it to our doorstep.

Bath Farm Girls

Bath Farm Girls

The first of only a few growers of British quinoa, Bath Farm Girls is made up of a very small team of three – Emily and her two young daughters, who are her official taste-testers. Their red and white quinoa crop is sown and grown on the farm that she grew up on as a little girl herself.

Teeny Greeny

Teeny Greeny

Teeny Greeny have taught us plenty about the goodness inside the smallest fresh, green, leafy shoots. They’re who we can thank for our selection of microgreens and microherbs that are grown in Wiltshire’s one and only urban farm using organic and biodynamic methods.

Walter Rose and Son

Our bread is supplied by Modern Baker in Oxford. It’s a science-fuelled and funded bakery backed by Innovate UK, campaigning to show how the right food can lead to long-term health and happiness – something we’re proud to support with every slice.
